but the damage still lingers. you can see the two huge holes in the window where somebody smashed a vodka bottle in them. last night, demonstrators started to throw paint balls. the group of about 200 people gathered at frank ogawa earlier in the morning to coincide with the 11th anniversary of the war in afghanistan. the group went on a march. two luxury cars that we know of were at least vandalized and their owners say that protesters are taking their frustrations out on the wrong people. >> i don't know why they are doing this. >> they have nothing better to do. >> it makes me very sad. >> reporter: later this morning, we're hoping to learn

president obama returns to the bay area to attend three fund-raiser events. alex savidge has more. >> reporter: well, several groups including anti-war organizations are planning to hold demonstrations during the president's visit here to san francisco. one of the events the president will be attending is a dinner and concert here at bill graham civic auditorium. it will feature a performance by john legend and alex smith will be onhand here. this will be a $20,000 a plate dinner. mr. obama is swinging through california that could push the presidency up in terms of fund- raiser. he hauled in a record-setting

that injured one person last night. you can see the bullet holes here. we do not know the victim's condition. so far no arrests have been made. an investigation is underway after a body was found in a car in east weekend at richie and olive streets. police say the body was wrapped in cloth and appeared to have been in that car for a while. investigators have not said if the body was that of a man or a woman. >> we now know the name of a 6- year-old hit and kill cab cash hit and killed in the parking lot. a mainny van lost control and crashed into the little girl, her mother and another mother. the other two victims are still in the hospital. the police say the driver of the minivan was distraught at the scene and was not arrested

or cited. a fatal accident in la fayette knocked out power to hundreds of customers. 651 customers were without power at the height of the outage. folks police say many of the protesters arrested on saturday are suspected in a similar protest in the mission district last month. these are some of the 11 -- some of the 11 men and women police rounded up on california and battery streets. officers say they wore black clothing and masks and tried to conduct a march on market street without a permit. this is video of the police moving into arrest the protesters. they are accused of trying to block the road and damage cabs and businesses. officers hit people with batons. police say the protesters struck first by throwing things at them hitting one officer in the head.
